    Brief explanation of the indicators

The data outlined represents key environmental and operational metrics, providing insights into the environmental impact and eco-friendly practices adopted by cruise ships during their stays in the port.

Port performance score (EPI): A performance metric ranging from 0 (no emission reduction) to 100 (complete emission reduction). It assesses a cruise ship's emission reduction efforts during its stay at the port through operational measures.

Port calls: The total count of cruise ship visits reported at the port.

SOx Emission (t): The cumulative amount of sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions produced by cruise ships during their port calls.

SOx Emission per pax: The cumulative amount of sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions produced by cruise ships during their port calls per passenger

SOx Removed (t): The quantity of sulfur oxide (SOx) removed from emissions due to operational measures adopted by the cruise ships during their port stay.

NOx Emission (t): The total nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions generated by cruise ships while in port.

NOx Emission per pax: The total nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions generated by cruise ships while in port per passenger

NOx Removed (t): The volume of nitrogen oxide (NOx) removed from emissions as a result of operational measures implemented by the cruise ships during their time at the port.

Unique Ships Equipped with Shore Power: The count of individual ships equipped with a shore power interface among the ships visiting the port.

Number of Ship Calls Connected to Shore Power: The total count of ship visits that utilized shore power while at the port.

Ships Using LNG as Fuel: The total number of ships utilizing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as their primary fuel source during their port visits.

Ships Using H2 or Ammonia as Fuel: The count of ships using alternative, zero-emission fuels such as Hydrogen (H2) or Ammonia during their time in port.
